Who are we?

We are John and Lacie Dunlop. We have a daughter, Zoe, who is fifteen going on twenty-one! We also have a young son, Luke who is nineteen months old. John is originally from the United Kingdom, and Lacie is Canadian.

John owns and runs a print shop and Lacie is a freelance writer and stay-at-home Mum.

We have a cat named Tigger.

As far as the "ghost" is concerned, we remain fairly skeptical about its existence. John has more of a religious conviction about God and such things while Lacie is pretty much a non-believer in anything she can't reach out and touch. However, we live in a neighbour hood made up of lots of elderly residents who have uncertainties about the house and are reluctant to venture in, although welcome us into their homes with great enthusiasm.

When we bought the house, it was at a knock-down price and although it was in need of a good coat of paint and a new kitchen, it seemed to be in very good condition and got a glowing report from the House Inspector.

Is the house haunted? We just don't know. We don't even know if we believe in such things. The camera is positioned looking into the utility room in the basement. There are two computers in there along with a washing machine and dryer. John can be seen in there at various points during the day as indeed can Lacie. And don't forget to look out for Tigger as well!

But mainly keep an eye open for anything else and let us know if you see anything odd. At times, that room has an unpleasant feel about it and its difficult when that feeling comes along to not want to bolt straight out of there. Items also have a habit of seeming to change position, although we just can't be sure about this and are still looking for concrete proof that this happens rather than it's just been a result of carelessness.
